Referral Marketing Disclosure

Read this first

We are not an HVAC contractor. We are a website that introduces homeowners to one.

What actually happens when you contact us

Ductlessminisplitbrockton.com collects your name, contact details and a description of your project, and passes them to a licensed, independent HVAC contractor working in your town. That contractor then calls you, visits your property, prices the job, and — if you hire them — performs the work.

Nobody connected with this website installs, services, diagnoses or repairs heating and cooling equipment. There is no crew here.

The contractor is not us

They are a separate, independent business. Concretely, that means:

Their license, not ours. They hold their own Massachusetts HVAC or refrigeration license and their own electrical trade credentials where applicable. We hold none, because we perform no work.

Their insurance, not ours. Liability and workers' compensation coverage belongs to the contractor. We carry no coverage over work we do not perform.

Their price, not ours. We do not set, review, approve or negotiate what a contractor charges you.

Their warranty, not ours. Any guarantee on labor sits with the contractor; any guarantee on equipment sits with its manufacturer. We warrant nothing and accept no liability for work performed.

Their schedule, not ours. We cannot promise when you will be contacted or when work can start.

How we get paid

We may be paid a fee when an introduction leads to contact or completed work. You are never charged for a referral, and the fee does not increase what a contractor quotes you.

About the numbers on this site

Cost figures published here are general planning ranges taken from published sources, most often Mass Save's own data. They are not quotes. They are not tied to any particular contractor. They are not an offer. A real number requires a contractor who has walked your property.

About the rebate and permit information on this site

We publish rebate and permitting detail because homeowners ask, and because the multi-family case in particular is poorly covered elsewhere. That information describes programs and codes administered by Mass Save, its sponsoring utilities, and Massachusetts building authorities — none of which we are affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized to speak for.

Program terms, dollar amounts, qualifying equipment and code requirements change without notice to us. Confirm anything you intend to rely on directly with the administering program or your local building department before you sign a contract or buy equipment.
